Japanese Kiss

Japanese kiss can be considered one of the most modest and intimate kiss simultaneously. Japanese people consider French kissing very vulgar and consider instant touching of their partners' lips with their lips. It never implies wrapping your arms around your partner or even slight holding him/her.
Japanese kiss lasts not more than a second and is considered by many people something which should be practiced in kindergartens. However, such opinion of overexperienced experts who have tried and practised all possible types of kisses is slightly wrong in our view. Japanese kiss is very special in its own sense regarding its own peculiarities and characteristics. In the background of sexual debauch which is shown on TV non-stop Japanese kiss can be considered almost exotic!
If we take into account facts from the history of Asian kiss, we must say that there were no kisses in Japan or China – they were invisible, to be more precise. Lovers never kissed in public there, relatives never kissed in general. The cooperation of lips was not a culturally sealed sign here, just like it was in Europe and USA.
Still, there were people who actually kissed in Japan, we can track this fact down in the erotic paintings. Although kissing was the action of exquisitely sexual character, nobody kissed without being overwhelmed by an out-of-this-world passion. Japanese kiss is neither manifestation of respect, emotional affection or sympathy in Japan. Just imagine the surprise (shock!) of Japanese people when they traveled to Europe and saw mothers kissing their kids, fathers kissing mothers etc. in public!
There are many possible reasons why we kiss starting from pleasant emotions and sensations it brings finishing with desire to practise the art of kissing which is represented by a myriad of nuances and special points requiring much time spent on their investigation and practice.
Plato used to call kissing the ‘exchange of love between the two souls’. Nowadays medical specialists call a kiss some sort of spasm which involves around twenty-nine muscles.
They call it French kissing because most people in most countries associate the French with the nation of virtuosos when it’s about the art of love and sensuality. In French this type of kissing is called ‘the kiss of souls’.
